Living Well: Stretching for Gardeners (IN PERSON)
Wednesday, May 67:00—8:15 PMProgram RoomNewburyport Public LibraryNewburyport Public Library, 94 State Street, Newburyport, MA, 01950

Calling all gardeners!! Let’s create a program for stretching to target the body parts and muscles we use in gardening as well as everyday life.
Join me for simple movements to warm up our muscles allowing us to bend, gently lift and move with ease as we tend to our gardens. We will then practice stretching post-activity to allow muscles to release tension and relax so we can sit and enjoy the gifts of our creations.
No experience needed. No flexibility required, Just a desire to stretch and strengthen.
Registration is recommended to allow us to have enough handouts but walk ins are still welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and other supplies.
