Join us for an afternoon of poetry with the Powow River Poets! Readings are free and open to the public. The reading will be held in the library program room. 

This month we feature José Edmundo Ocampo Reyes and Zara Raab. Come early to sign up for open mic! 

José Edmundo Ocampo Reyes, born and raised in the Philippines, is the author of Present Values (Backbone Press, 2018), winner of the Jean Pedrick Chapbook Award from the New England Poetry Club. His poems have appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, The Hudson Review, Pleiades, Rattle, and other journals. 

Zara Raab grew up in rural California. Her books include Fracas & Asylum, Swimming the Eel and several chapbooks. She has an MFA from Lesley and poems in The Hudson Review, Ibbetson Street Press, Stand, Verse Daily and elsewhere.

The Powow River Poets, based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, are active promoters of poetry in New England.
