Join us for an afternoon of poetry with the Powow River Poets! Readings are free, accessible, and open to the public. The poets reading this month are Midge Goldberg, Kyle Potvin, and Deborah Warren. Come early to sign up for open mic!

Midge Goldberg’s newest poetry collection is To Be Opened After My Death, (Kelsay Books, 2021.) She received the Richard Wilbur Poetry Award for her book Snowman's Code and was the winner of the Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award. She also authored an illustrated children’s book.

Kyle Potvin’s first full-length poetry collection is Loosen (Hobblebush Books, 2021). Her chapbook, Sound Travels on Water, won the Jean Pedrick Chapbook Award. She is a two-time finalist for the Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award and received a commendation in the 2019 International Hippocrates Open Prize for Poetry in Medicine.

Deborah Warren has six books, with two published in 2021: Strange to Say: Etymology for Serious Entertainment (Paul Dry, 2021) and the poetry collection Connoisseurs of Worms (Paul Dry, 2021). Her work has been published in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and the The Yale Review and she has received the Robert Frost Award, the Robert Penn Warren Prize, and the Howard Nemerov Award, among others.
