The Next Chapter Book Group (formerly Retired Readers) invites you to join our monthly book discussion on the first Wednesday of the month at 2pm. We will be meeting in-person, at the Senior Community Center. Masks will be required. This meeting will be held in the Boardroom. If you haven't attended an event at the SCC please arrive early to complete a waiver and registration form. You will be issued a tag to scan whenever you enter the SCC. This month's title is: "The Silence" by Susan Allott

"It is 1997, and in a basement flat in Hackney, Isla Green is awakened by a call in the middle of the night: her father phoning from Sydney. 30 years ago, in the suffocating heat of summer 1967, the Greens' next-door neighbor Mandy disappeared.
