Join the Newburyport Public Library for some creative fun with Maker Mondays.

This month we will be bringing beauty and music to our homes with Jellyfish Windchimes. With a base in the form of a Japanese wind bell, this art piece will add coastal charm and graceful tones to your porch or windows. Personalize your windchime by adding designs and color to make something perfect for you. This is a staff led program and all materials will be provided by the library.

This month's craft uses the following skills:

• Fine Motor Skills
• Knot work

Think you might need a little extra help? We now offer a tutorial table for those who are still learning the skills needed for this craft.

Registration is required for this IN-PERSON event. Limited walk-in seats may be available.

This program has been designed with adult participants in mind but teens who feel comfortable with the skills described are welcome to attend independently. Young teens and older children who can use the listed skills with some guidance are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult. Library staff are not responsible for supervising any minors attending this program beyond the scope of instruction provided to any adult attendee.
