Infant massage instruction goes beyond physical benefits for babies; it establishes a profound connection within families. This practice becomes a family tradition, creating relaxed and playful communication moments between parent and child.  Caregivers will learn infant massage strokes to promote sleep, relaxation, and digestion. Other benefits for babies include faster weight gain, improved cardiac and respirator output, and enhanced neurological development. Each participant will receive a handout and a small bottle of oil to use for massages at home.

This instruction session is taught by Certified Infant Massage Coach Meagan O'Neill. Meagan is a pediatric physical therapist and the owner of Ahoy Baby Physical Therapy and Wellness. This program is brought to you by Merrimack Valley Public Health Alliance.
